Both Tomas Owens MD and Philip Palmer MD will head two state professional organizations. Dr. Owens will serve as president of the Oklahoma County Medical Society beginning in January of 2012. Dr. Palmer is currently the president of the Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians. Great Plains has benefited from their leadership and expertise for years; we're happy to share them with the rest of our state!
