Family-friendly Program

Just like we aim to treat the whole patient, at GPFMRP we strive to teach the "whole resident". We recognize that residents are not just trainees, but have lives outside of residency. We work hard to accommodate the life-changing events that residents often experience. In fact, over the past five years alone, our residents have welcomed a total of 15 new babies into their families! Talk about life-changing! We support residents and staff returning to work by providing a designated Pumping/Nursing Room for those who choose to breastfeed. We arrange clinic schedules around pumping needs and ensure that all volunteer faculty provide the same accommodations. We find this encouragement and support goes a long way in keeping our residents and their families healthy and happy!
