In-Training Exam

Family medicine residents around the country are taking the American Board of Family Medicine's In-Training Exam today https://www.theabfm.org/residency/ite.aspx. Along with regular evaluations and observations, at Great Plains we use the ITE as a tool to assess each residents' training and then identify learning needs for their Individual Education Plans. We also take advantage of the data provided by the ABFM with the score reports to measure overall program performance and adjust curriculum. Our Chief Residents facilitate board review conferences throughout the year using past tests' questions and answers. We are proud to say that Great Plains' residents regularly score well-above the national average.
