Military Medicine at Great Plains

We've always been proud of the fact that our graduates go into a variety of practice settings, and we're now expanding the ranks of military medicine. Dr. Phil Palmer, one of our faculty physicians, is now a Major in the US Army Reserves and is currently undergoing officer training in San Antonio. Two of our gradutes, Dr.'s Matt Jacobsen and Kyle Rickner, were also active in the military. Both were deployed to the Middle East after graduating from residency, but are now back in the US practicing family medicine. We'll have Dr. Palmer share some of his experiences on the blog when he returns later this month.
