Dr. Palmer to be Promoted

Dr. Stanford earned his medical degree at St. Lucia School of Medicine, BWI, and trained at the University of Oklahoma Pediatrics Residency Program. He spent a year practicing in Montana before beginning private practice in Oklahoma City in 1990. Dr. Stanford is certified as a fellow by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the AMA, AAP, and SCCM.
Dr. Stanford is a clinical instructor of pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma. He has been the attending physician in pediatrics at Great Plains since 1996, where he teaches both in- and out-patient pediatrics to all residents. Dr. Stanford has twice been nominated for the OU Aesculapian Award for Excellence in Teaching and is a two-time winner of the Great Plains teaching award.
Interests: orthopedics and acutely ill children
Hobbies: flying, diving, golf
